Excursion by minibus/bus/private car

MILAZZO in freedom and the Strait of Messina
with the possibility of a boat trip to the Marine Protected Area
of Capo Milazzo with swimming and snorkelling

DEPARTURES FROM
Reggio Calabria (6:50 am) with return around 7:30 pm

Meeting point in Reggio Calabria (also in the vicinity of the city) directly at the accommodation facility (or in a place to be agreed). Departure by private car/minibus/bus to Messina with spectacular crossing of the Strait of Messina by scheduled boat (25 min.). You will see the two cities of Reggio Calabria and Messina facing each other. At the closest point, the two shores are only 3 km apart. Disembark and continue by minibus to Milazzo (35 min). Arrival at the port and free time. Possibility of bathing at the beautiful Riviera di Ponente beach (20 minutes' walk from the port), or visit the Castle, the largest fortified citadel in Sicily, with its fantastic view from the Tower, the Cathedral, and Palazzo d'Amico. It will be possible (with a supplement) to take a boat tour of the Capo Milazzo Marine Protected Area (duration approx. 4 hours) to admire the fauna and flora, but also to stop in the most evocative and enchanting coves, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. 5.30 p.m. rendezvous at the port and return to the morning meeting places.
