Day 1: Arrival – REGGIO CALABRIA or LAMEZIA TERME
Arrival at the airport/station of Reggio Calabria or Lamezia Terme. Accommodation in a private car/minibus/bus and transfer to the hotel. Free dinner libre. Overnight stay.
2nd DAY: REGGIO CALABRIA – SCILLA – CHIANALEA – REGGIO CALABRIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning: Transfer by private car/minibus for a visit to the National Museum with access to the room of the Riace Bronzes. Tour by private car to visit the city of Reggio Calabria. Promenade with Greek Walls and Roman Baths, Cathedral, Castle, Corso Garibaldi. Free lunch. Afternoon transfer to Scilla for a free visit of the town and Chianalea, a characteristic fishing village known as the "Venice of the South". Return to the hotel. Free dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 3: PIZZO – TROPEA – REGGIO CALABRIA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the visit to Tropea, the Norman Cathedral, the Baroque Church of Sant’Alfonso dei Liguori, a walk in the historic center to discover the "glorious civilizations" that made this town illustrious in the past. Free lunch. In the afternoon, visit Pizzo, famous for the Church of Piedigrotta, a small masterpiece of sacred art, unique in its kind, where you can admire statues carved in rock representing scenes from the Holy Scriptures by local artists Angelo and Alfonso Barone. Then, a walk in the historic center, and a visit to the 16th-century Castle, known for a sad event that took place here: the execution of the King of Naples, Joachim Murat. Finally, relax and have the opportunity to enjoy the tartufo in one of the many bars located in the town's "living room," where the local ice cream makers are true masters in its preparation. Return to Reggio Calabria. Free dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
4th DAY: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Accommodation in a private car/minibus/bus and transfer to the airport/station of Reggio Calabria or Lamezia Terme.
